Match Report Sunday 06/06/10 LEARNING CURVE League game away to Milton Rovers First half goals Milton = 7min, 40min, 45min From the kick off Paisley pressed the Milton defence back and had a few goal mouth chances just going wide, The Milton left back gave a 20 yard pass back to the Goalie who picked the ball up (was an obvious mistake from the Milton keeper for picking the ball up) both sets of players let her know of the wrong doing, unfortunately the Referee failed to award the indirect free kick for the indiscretion to Paisley side. Milton were awarded a very soft penalty, for a ball to hand in the first 7 minutes. The game seemed to flow from one end of the pitch to the other for the rest of the first half, there were again a few dubious decisions made by the ref which to be honest seemed not to be going for Saints. Milton finished the half with another two goals. The second half started and remained very similar to the last 10 minutes of the first half with the ref having a nightmare of a game & loosing control of the field, being conned and bullied by the more experienced players on the field of play. Take nothing away from Milton who played well and used all their experience in this game to upset & frustrate PSGFC . Milton went on to win the game convincingly and scored another five goals before end of play.
